Our family is of the Catholic Faith, with our home parish being St. Stanislaus in Lansdale, PA. Andrea was born into the Catholic Faith, and Jutt was confirmed into Catholicism on Easter in 2008 after studying the religion for two years.
Though our family is Catholic, we respect people of all religions, whether that be the various forms of Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddism, Taoism, or whatever "ism". FAITH is something you have or do not - it is not explainable in words. You either have FAITH or you do not - there is no in-between. How you choose to practice and worship your FAITH is up to you. Whether you devotely go to a church or temple, or watch Mass on the television, or simply talk directly to God directly - you can still have FAITH.
This world would be a much better place if everyone in it had more tolerance of each other. Just because someone doesn't have the same belief system as you....does not mean they are any more or less of a human being than you. They should be respected...no matter what their beliefs. You certainly don't have to agree with others beliefs, but you do have to RESPECT those beliefs.
Its a good thing to try to spread God's message to others...as long as your not trying to push your belief system on someone who doesn't want it. You cannot force anyone to come to God - they must do it themselves.
And lastly - people who fly planes into buildings, shoot ATF agents, or blow up places in the name of a religion ARE NOT RELIGIOUS people. They are terrorists - and terrorists make claims to all religions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and every other religion known to man. Nobody that takes human life is religious. God preaches peace and tolerance of each other....to walk the walk....and to not keep performing the same sins over and over again thinking you'll be forgiven. For the most part we grow up and instinctively know the difference between right and wrong. Everything else is taught to us by outside influence.
Thanks for reading our thoughts on this matter...and may God Bless you and your family.
